Two Year Anniversary Approches for Owner of Holbrooke Hotel

 

Grass Val­ley, CA—October 27, 2012—The pro­pri­etor of the his­toric Hol­brooke Hotel, Ian Garfinkel, wishes to thank the com­mu­nity for its sup­port as the two year own­er­ship anniver­sary approaches. Sev­eral recent changes to the Hol­brooke Hotel—the his­toric land­mark that had been on the brink of clo­sure mul­ti­ple times lead­ing up to Garfinkel’s arrival—have resulted in an increase in busi­ness for the hotel, now oper­at­ing in its 161^st year.

The Hol­brooke Hotel opened in 1851, and has pro­vided refresh­ments, fine din­ing and com­fort for United States’ pres­i­dents Grover Cleve­land, Ulysses S. Grant and Ben­jamin Har­ri­son; writer Mark Twain and scores of other famous peo­ple have fre­quented the famed estab­lish­ment. The Hol­brooke Hotel has lured researchers of the para­nor­mal for decades due to con­tin­u­ous claims of ghost sightings.

The Hol­brooke now boasts a much improved menu, the addi­tion of large flat screen tele­vi­sions in the bar for sports enthu­si­asts, and musi­cal enter­tain­ment Tues­day through Sat­ur­day nights. Spe­cial events and hol­i­day cater­ing is also offered by the Hol­brooke Hotel.

Owner, Ian Garfinkel, thanks the pub­lic for their patron­age and over­whelm­ing sup­port through­out the years, and invites all to come down and cel­e­brate the his­toric Hol­brooke Hotel’s ele­gance, suc­cess and begin­ning of a new era.

The Holbrooke’s 2012 Hal­loween Bash/Anniversary cel­e­bra­tion is Sat­ur­day, Octo­ber 27^th at 7:30 pm. There will be cos­tume con­tests, live music by the Hol­brooke All-Stars and there is no cover charge.  Come down and help cel­e­brate The Hol­brooke Hotel.
