Accommodating History
The historic Holbrooke Hotel has always been the ideal base from which to explore the fascinating history of the Gold Country, shop for antiques and unique gifts, or participate in the many outdoor recreational activities in the area. Established in 1851 to cater to the needs of Gold Rush pioneers, the Holbrooke continues to offer fine accommodations, dining, beverages, and entertainment to travelers and local residents.
Guest books, preserved and displayed in the hotel today, include the signatures of Presidents Ulysses S. Grant, Benjamin Harrison, James A. Garfield and Grover Cleveland.
