This building has been built from canvas and stone, burned to the ground, rebuilt, renamed, and gussied up for the likes of Mark Twain, Lola Montez and Ulysses S. Grant. It’s seen gambling, gunfights, good times and bad. Fortunes made and pure gold lost. Haunted by cowboys and Victorian maids, their secrets forever safe within the walls. Legend tells us even Prohibition couldn’t stop the good whisky from flowing in the saloon.
Thank you for your patience while we refresh and revitalize the Holbrooke Hotel. Our team of local designers, architects, contractors and craftsmen are working hard to preserve the charm and history of this treasured building while renovations are in progress.
